FAQ’s
The GP Service is offered by a number of independent pharmacies, allowing you to collect or have treatments delivered from a local nominated pharmacy or collected from a pharmacy selected at checkout or whilst setting up an account. Please note: additional charges may apply for delivery.
Your nominated pharmacy will email and text when treatment is ready for collection. If you have selected a delivery option, you will receive email confirmation including delivery information.
We accept payments online via credit and debit card, and will pre-authorise your card.
If a doctor feels you are not suitable for a treatment, no charge will be applied to your card and you will be notified by email.
Our doctors aim to assess all questionnaires within a maximum of one working day. As the service develops, time will reduce with reviews undertaken within an hour. Upon approval, we take care of informing the nominated pharmacy with authorised prescription.
All pharmacies signed up with The GP Service are UK registered pharmacies and usually receive out of stock items within 24 hours, but usually within a few hours. Most general medications are in stock by the majority of pharmacies.
What if the pharmacy cannot locate my prescription?
Our highly trained team are in continuous contact with pharmacies and ensure each order is managed, however, if you have any issues, please contact us immediately.
Processing starts immediately with form-based consultations. Assessments are delivered instantaneously to a doctor, who assess suitability for a certain treatment.
Accordingly, you agree that we will have commenced the service at your request; you further agree, that if you cancel an order for a form-based consultation, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee based on any reasonable costs that we have, by then, already incurred. If the doctor has issued the prescription a full charge is applied. If the doctor has not reviewed it, an admin charge of up to 50% of the original order is applicable.
You may not cancel the order, and shall not be entitled to any refund, once your request for a prescription, included in your order for a form-based consultation has been approved, or a doctor, following a form-based consultation, issues you with a prescription.
